Welcome
Hi all, I am a fifth former student from Malta currently studying and doing my Ordinary level exams (2013). This website was created as part of my European Studies exam’s coursework – in general about political ideologies.
Exploring different tabs you can find both original write ups and investigations, as well as resources from other website and books – which I found very interesting and educative. I also gave out some questionnaires to different Maltese politicians.

Politics determine the simplest thing in your everyday day life. It owns the power to determine how much tax you pay, what you or your kids learn at school, whether you have the right to voice your opinion or not, whether you have the right to strike or the right for social benefits, whether you have the right to vote or the right to life. No matter where you live, not matter the continent, nation, language or religion, politics have an important role in any individual’s life. The laws enacted by the government are a plan of a person’s life.

So why do we have political parties? And what use or purpose do they serve?
Political parties are an association of people, with common ideas and perspectives, formed for the specific purpose of influencing the way a country is governed. Political parties were primarily designed to give voice to people’s opinions and are an absolute necessity for a democratic system of government.
